this was a saturday to remember.
It all started when we were completely exhausted because of Brittney's brothers wedding the day before. We slept in till like 11:30, and i felt like that was the start of a pretty good day. We decided we'd get some errands done during the day, so first on the list was taking in Brittney's ring to the jeweler to get inspected and cleaned. let's just say it looked like brand new ring, it was "blinging" up the place. Next, our vacuum had broken down a couple of days back, it just wouldn't turn on any more. so, luckily because it was under warranty, we were taking it in to be repaired. I was a little wary right off the bat because it was like this run down little house in some rundown part of Provo. We toted the vacuum in, and the guy was this lonely, grumpy old man. he asked us if we had proof of purchase, and we didn't, and he was acting like we had ruined his whole day. He looks at me and asks "do you know how to write you name?" so i said yes and started to write it down. Then he starts staring at the vacuum, like he's going to tell what's wrong with it just by looking at it. I'm not saying a glance, like a full 30 seconds just staring at the vacuum. Then he proceeds to come around the counter, plug in the vacuum, and it turns right on! Then he tells us that we just need to clean it more often and how crappy our vacuum is. anyways, i'm convinced he had telekinesis, and he fixed it with his mind to make us look stupid. The day ended with a fabulous double date with the Taylor's at the Rice King, which is a little chinese hole in the way, affectionately referred to by TC's father as "China Hell" It was rather good however, with a massive plate of food for just over 6 bucks. TC was the only one to finish his whole plate, I think thats part of his little man syndrome trying to prove himself.
anyways, it was really fun, and i recommend it.
